The Neural Plasticity Rehabilitation and Movement Dynamics (NeRD) Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to study mechanisms of motor recovery and develop interventions to improve arm and hand function after stroke. This position is well-suited for candidates with backgrounds in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Movement Science, Neuroscience, or related fields interested in translational neurorehabilitation research. Responsibilities
- Conduct human subjects research in stroke rehabilitation
- Design experiments and collect/analyze neurophysiological and behavioral data
- Lead and contribute to manuscripts, grants, and collaborative projects
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Biomechanics, Rehabilitation Sciences, Movement Science, Neuroscience, Kinesiology, or related field
- Experience in:

- Neurophysiology (EMG, brain stimulation, spinal reflexes)

- Neuroimaging (DTI, fMRI)

- Motor control/biomechanics (kinematics, kinetics)
- MATLAB and signal processing experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and teamwork skills
