Congress Workshops
Workshops are different from symposia and oral scientific presentations, in that they provide a teaching opportunity, allowing participants to acquire or extend their skills, learn about new techniques or technologies, or gain in-depth knowledge in a particular topic related to the measurement of physical behaviour.
The Call for Workshop proposals is open from September 1 – November 3, 2025
Workshop proposal guidelines:
We have modified the format of ISEK this year to include all workshops and symposium in the one registration. This means that for the same price, ISEK is now a three-and-an-half rather than three-day congress – and all registrants are welcome to attend all workshops*, symposium, oral and poster presentations, for the one congress registration.
*with exception of the ECR session on the morning of day 1, which is targeted for students and early career academic registrants only
When submitting a workshop or symposium proposal, know that this may be scheduled on any day of the congress. The timing will depend on the balance of abstracts submitted under each category.
Workshop organizers must be a current member of ISEK and register for ISEK 2026. Companies that wish to organize a workshop must be an official sponsor of the Congress.
Proposals will be reviewed and selected by members of the Scientific Committee based on:
a) relevance to the measurement of physical behaviour
b) potential learning experience, and;
c) likelihood to appeal to a wide audience of ISEK members.
